A clear summary of the information Furlong uses to run the service, protect member access and keep you in control.

Furlong is operated by Furlong Lab LLC. This notice applies to the Furlong website, member areas and emails. It explains the information we handle when you create an account, use the service or contact support.
Account passwords are not displayed as plain text. They are stored in a protected form used only to verify sign-in attempts.
For signed-in sessions, Furlong counts opens of a small allowlist of broad product areas so we can understand which tools are useful. The event contains only the day, broad product area, authenticated or admin cohort, and software version. It does not contain an email, account or session identifier, IP address, full URL or query, horse or race, selection, odds, bet, bankroll information, saved criteria, Ask text or other free-form content.
Each product area is counted at most once per browser-tab session. The collector uses no analytics cookie, respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, and never blocks a page if measurement is unavailable. Raw events are deleted after no more than 90 days; anonymous daily totals may be retained, with small totals hidden in reports. Our hosting provider also processes page-speed measurements for the same coarse allowlisted product areas so we can identify deployed mobile performance issues. Before sending, Furlong removes the real URL and route (including any IDs or query), drops unknown or sensitive paths, and applies the same Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track opt-out.
You can also pause both forms of optional measurement at any time using the browser-storage control. The choice is saved only in that browser and does not affect sign-in or member features.
New accounts receive horse racing access after email verification. The previous daily free-tip email service has been retired. Existing unsubscribe links remain available, and legacy consent records are retained separately from account verification and member email preferences.
Verification, password-setup and unsubscribe links are time-limited; only one-way token hashes are stored. Signup-abuse limits use hashed email and IP keys rather than adding those identifiers to a public profile. Existing verified legacy subscribers may receive a secure link that lets them set their own password. Furlong does not create or email a readable default password.
A new public account cannot sign in until the address owner uses its single-use verification link. Account verification is an essential security message and is separate from optional email consent.
The visible unsubscribe link first opens a confirmation page. If you explicitly confirm, Free Tip emails stop and an active Free Member login is deactivated. It never deletes or deactivates an active paid or lifetime membership. Automated one-click email-unsubscribe requests suppress email only and cannot close an account. Essential security and account messages do not depend on marketing consent.
We keep subscription and delivery status while needed to run the service. Unconfirmed pending addresses are removed after 30 days, and expired capability-token hashes are pruned separately. After an unsubscribe or account closure, a minimal suppression and audit record may be retained to honour the choice, protect the service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion using the privacy address below, subject to records we must retain.
When you connect Telegram from the website, we link your Telegram user ID to your member account to approve group entry and keep group access aligned with your UK/IRE Horses access. We do not use your Telegram username to verify account ownership.
Connection links expire after 10 minutes and are stored as one-way hashes. The membership bot receives your connection command, join requests and membership changes. If horse-racing access is disabled, the bot removes you from the group. A minimal Telegram ID record may remain after account deletion until removal is confirmed.
For active paid members, Furlong records limited session activity to help keep accounts secure and identify unusual sharing patterns. It can include your IP address, browser or device label, and network-provided city, latitude and longitude when those headers are supplied by the hosting network.
This information is used for account protection, not advertising. It is kept only while an active paid membership is in place. It is deleted when a member moves to free access or an account is deactivated. An automated daily check removes any legacy inactive rows, and active-member session records are retained for no longer than 90 days.
When you use the Football stat assistant, your question, the licensed-feed lookup results needed to answer it and the generated answer are processed by our AI service provider. Do not include personal, account, payment or other sensitive information in a question.
Questions and answers are kept in a private operational usage log for no longer than 90 days, then deleted. They are not displayed to other members and are not used for third-party advertising.
If you choose to upload a bet slip, its image or PDF is processed by our AI service provider to pre-fill the private bankroll form. Furlong does not save the uploaded file to its database, disk or file storage. Images are re-encoded first to remove EXIF and location metadata.
PDFs are sent to the provider as supplied and can contain document metadata. Use a screenshot instead if that metadata may be private, and always review the extracted fields before saving the bet.
Reviews submitted from Settings are linked to the account privately so each member can update only their own review. They are not public until an administrator approves them. The public homepage receives only the approved rating and review wording under an anonymous member label; account details and moderation history are not shown. Do not include personal details in review wording.
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Account-sharing session information is deleted when paid access ends and is otherwise limited to 90 days. Separate IP-keyed login-abuse counters are short-lived technical security records, are not attached to a member profile, and are selected for automated deletion once they are older than 24 hours. Football Ask content is limited to 90 days. Some account, billing, betting and audit records may need to be retained longer for operational, legal or accounting reasons.
Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to run or support Furlong, such as hosting, database and email providers. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Paid members can manage member-email preferences from Settings. Free Members can use the confirmation link included in each Free Tip email to leave the Free Member service. You can also ask for access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to records that must be retained for legitimate operational, legal or accounting reasons.
Paid members can submit an account deletion request after signing in. Free Members can request closure or deletion through Support, including when they did not opt into Free Tip emails. For any other privacy request, email privacy@furlonglab.com.
